About the artist…
Dawn Spence is a Scottish abstract artist whose colourful and captivating paintings are influenced by her affection to water and the spectrum of human emotion she has experienced. From the vibrant city of Glasgow, Dawn invites you on a journey through the waves of joy, the depths of pain and the tranquillity of hope.
Dawn studied Contemporary and Fine Art practice in Glasgow, graduating in 2018. Since then Dawn has been exhibiting in solo and group shows and creates bespoke commissions for clients across the globe.
Dawn takes much inspiration from her travels to Italy, in particular Venice and Florence. She captures colourful reflections of water and combines them with landscapes of her native Scotland or settings further afield in a unique, organic style admired by many.
